Details
A splendid hike, 360-degree panoramic view of the most beautiful peaks of the Agordine Dolomites.
Cima Pape, Focobon, Mulaz ,Cime d’Auta, Cima Uomo and Costabella, this is the setting of a route designed to allow us to live an experience both athletic, but above all human. We will retrace the ancient footsteps of the shepherds, once guardians of the precious high-altitude pastures, connected by a network of paths that allowed men and animals to carry out agro-silvo-pastoral activities.
A little effort in exchange for intense feelings that only nature and the mountains can offer.
Walking along those paths, it will not be difficult to imagine those lives lived in close contact with nature when people followed the slow passing of the seasons.
DETAILS
The start from the village of Colmean begins on a dirt road and then becomes a trail and climbs the ridge to below Mt. Vallesella.
A nice traverse close to the dolomite walls will take us first to the Col Becher pass dominated by the mountain of the same name and then to “cut” the grasslands below the Cime d’Auta.
On the descent we will touch on the John Paul I hut, Rif Cacciatori and Col Mont hut, making for an exciting and certainly satisfying loop.
A good level of training and habit of walking in the mountains is required.

Who's your guide??
In dolomiti Beat we are all AMM Certified by the College of Alpine Guides of Veneto, to guarantee you maximum safety and professionalism and think only of your enjoyment!
The floor plan of the house in which I grew up reflects an old custom whereby the kitchen faces south and the rooms face north.
This good design rule reserved for me a small room overlooking hills and foothills, woods and meadows, inevitable not to feel attraction to that world that was just begging to be explored and that I had begun to know from that window.
As I grew up, my gaze went beyond those hills, further north, to the Dolomites and into all those mountains that give me excitement.
There they are, after all, outside my bedroom window.
"If the point at which you plunge into a river is the present, I thought, then the past is the water that has passed you by, the water that goes downward and where there is nothing left for you, while the future is the water that comes down from above, bringing dangers and surprises. The past is downstream, the future is upstream.
Whatever fate is, it dwells in the mountains above our heads."
