Sardinia: tastes of Wild Blue and beyond…

A different, definitely challenging Easter Monday to remember!
From lake elevation we will climb to the famous Punta Larici, gaining every single meter of the 907 summit, a strenuous but surely satisfying “goat” trail along the Bassa Via del Garda.
Arriving with one’s own legs on this beautiful terrace will be a unique thrill.
Once at altitude we will head back south with spectacular views of the Garda to climb the equally beautiful Cima Mughera, which is certainly less frequented.
On the way back we will descend the picturesque Singol Valley with numerous streams.
DETAILS
We will start in Limone, a beautiful village on the Brescia coast of Lake Garda, elevation 69 meters, initially a couple of kilometers of lakefront, to warm up.
Then we will begin the definitely challenging ascent: 800 meters in about 2 km, which will take us to Punta Larici, a famous balcony over Garda at an altitude of 907 meters.
After a well-deserved rest we will depart by ridges to reach Cima Mughera, elevation 1,161 above Limone, our home base.
For the return trip, we will choose the smoother route down the famous Singol Valley to the cars.
Difficulty level: extreme, very steep ascent and challenging descent.
A good level of training and habit of walking on challenging trails is required.

Always "sick" of Mountains and Nature in general, born and raised in the countryside, just outside Verona and the Lessini Mountains.
Enrolled almost as a joke in the Medium Mountain Companion course organized by the College of Mountain Guides of Veneto.
During the challenging training, with wonderful and passionate colleagues we "discovered" a new way of going to the mountains: slower, more mindful.
For the past two years I have been accompanying people in "my" mountains and around Italy, with projects even across borders.
Most of all, I like to explore places outside the crowd and take advantage of all seasons to frequent both sea and mountains.
