Sardegna

8 - 11 people

From the historic village of Fumane, at the mouth of the Valle dei Molini , we will enter the Valpolicella Park, and the lands ofAmarone.
We will pass through the most suitable areas for the cultivation of D.O.C. vineyards.
We will stop at the Shrine of Santa Maria Valverde, with a spectacular view.
On Mount Castelon we will visit the Temple of Minerva, one of the most important Roman sites in northern Italy.
Passing through the hamlet of San Rocco we will rise in altitude as we enter the realm of cherry trees, in bloom this season, until we reach the Lessinia Regional Park and then return through woods concluding a loop.
DETAILS
We will leave from the center of Fumane (VR) on trails then dirt roads within Lessinia Park.
Next we will pass through vineyards to the village of Purano.
A short stretch of road will take us to the Shrine and then down to San Rocco.
The upper part is on trails that are never too steep.
The itinerary presents no difficulty and is suitable for everyone; consider the length.

Always "sick" of Mountains and Nature in general, born and raised in the countryside, just outside Verona and the Lessini Mountains.
Enrolled almost as a joke in the Medium Mountain Companion course organized by the College of Mountain Guides of Veneto.
During the challenging training, with wonderful and passionate colleagues we "discovered" a new way of going to the mountains: slower, more mindful.
For the past two years I have been accompanying people in "my" mountains and around Italy, with projects even across borders.
Most of all, I like to explore places outside the crowd and take advantage of all seasons to frequent both sea and mountains.
